Signing in to your Havra account
Your Havra dashboard is protected by three checks: your password, a code we email you, and a code from an authenticator app on your phone. A stolen password alone never opens your account.
- Go to havra.co/dashboard and enter your email address and password.
- Check your email for a 6 digit code from Havra and type it in. The code works once, for 10 minutes.
- Open your authenticator app and type the 6 digit code it shows for Havra.
You stay signed in on that device for a while. Signing out, or using a new device or browser, starts over with a fresh code.
Set up your authenticator app
The first time you sign in, Havra asks you to add an authenticator app. It takes about two minutes.
- Install a free authenticator app on your phone. Google Authenticator and Duo Mobile both work. Authy and 1Password work too.
- In the app, add an account and scan the square code on your screen. If the camera won't cooperate, type the key shown under the square instead.
- Type the 6 digit code the app shows and choose Turn it on.
- Save your eight recovery codes somewhere safe, like a password manager or a printed sheet with your business papers. We show them once and can't show them again.
If the email code doesn't arrive
- Check your spam or junk folder, and mark the message as not spam.
- Give it a minute. Some company mail systems scan new senders first.
- Choose Send me another code. You can ask once a minute, up to five times an hour.
- Make sure you're checking the email address on your Havra account.
- Still nothing? Email hello@havra.co.
If you lose your phone
- Sign in with your password and the emailed code.
- When asked for the app code, choose Lost your phone? Use a recovery code and enter one of your saved codes.
- Sign in again, then add the app on your new phone from Settings. You get a fresh set of recovery codes.
No recovery codes either? Email hello@havra.co. We confirm who you are by a separate route before resetting the app step.
